FRIENDS: FAMILY BY CHOICE
I love my friends in every way possible. They are a great group of people, and each one is unique and amazing. No matter what, they always have my back. We've all been through a lot together, and trust me, we've had our fights, but in the end, we all still love each other.
MAKENA
Makena has been my best friend for over two years. We met when we were six years old at my birthday party. Our dads work together and have been best friends for a long time. They even have best friend nicknames for each other, "Princess" and "Papaw". Our friendship is even closer than theirs, though. We've always been by each other's sides, and we know more about each other than we know about ourselves. I wouldn't want any other person in the world to be my best friend. Makena and I always get along and we are always there to support each other through everything. (Makena is in the first, sixth, seventh, and eighth photos above.)
LUCI AND KURSTIN
Luci and Kurstin have been friends with me for a long time. We first started hanging out when we went on double "dates" in the sixth grade. Ever since then, we became very close. We know anything and everything about each other's likes and dislikes. (Luci and Kurstin are in the first and sixth pictures.)
EMILY
Emily and I became friends in sixth grade when we were both on the sixth grade cheer squad. She was my base, and I was her flyer. We were on the same level in our athletic abilities in the sport, and we always pushed each other to our limits at practices and games. We went through all of seventh grade, and eighth, being in the same stunt group and becoming closer. For high school, Emily isn't cheering, and it's going to be hard to get through the season without her. (Emily is in the second, fifth, and eighth photos.)

CHEER FRIENDS
I've been a cheerleader for many years now, and the girls I cheer with are like family to me. We've gone through so much together. We've experienced all of the wins and losses, the ups and downs, and all the love and laughing. We've worked hard together to succeed and represent our school. We know all of each others strengths and weaknesses, and we motivate each other to do our best. (My cheer friends are in the second, fifth, eighth, and ninth pictures.)

GUY FRIENDS
I have some friends that I am really close to, they just happen to be boys. It definitely doesn't make a difference, and it doesn't make our friendships any less important or special. The football players and basketball players are all my friends, and they all mean a lot to me. We've grown closer over the years as we experienced all the wins and losses together throughout our middle school years' seasons. During the football seasons, the boys and cheerleaders got to have some amazing adventures, including making it through a game during a complete downpour. During basketball season, we got to make even more memories. The bus rides were always loads of fun, and we all got along really well. I wouldn't trade the experiences or friendships I have with those guys for anything. (My guy friends are in the second, third, fourth, fifth, and seventh photos.)
